We are industry experts who take the valuation of your vehicle very seriously because we ourselves understand the importance of an accurate representation of our own vehicles. Our goal is to maintain the highest appraisal standards and treat customers kindly and with dignity. Our appraisals serve as widely accepted documents to insurance companies, financial institutions, courts, charities, the IRS and more.

Mark Ochoa - Inspector & Appraiser in Training

Mark is a skilled hobbyist and mechanical wizard on both ground and airborne machines alike. Mark started collecting and restoring cars in high school as he worked as a front-end technician at Firestone in Manhattan Beach, California. Mark quickly became a certified technician at Firestone while pursuing aviation maintenance at Northrop University in Inglewood California. The trusty truck to get Mark to and from school, work and the beach was a 1957 Chevy pickup he bought for $1000. Mark was also using the truck to support his other hobby of racing motorcycles all over California. Once Mark graduated with his airframe, powerplant license and FCC license he was hired by Federal Express as an avionics technician at LAX (Los Angeles International Airport). With Marks new career came new toys, including a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro and a new Harley. Mark would move his family to Dallas Texas to progress in his career as an avionics mechanic, all while restoring and enjoying collector cars after hours. In 2002 Mark was appointed the senior maintenance specialist for maintaining FedEx corporate jets. During this time he was also appointed as a designated mechanics examiner for the FAA and local DFW area. Mark would again relocated for work this time to Hernando, Mississippi. In 2024 Mark received hands on training from Daniel with Classic Auto Appraiser at the Buick GS Nationals hosted at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green Kentucky. Mark's training and mechanical background qualify him to assist you in inspecting and valuing your collector car.

Daniel Curtis - Owner & Operator of Classic Auto Appraiser; Appraiser & Inspector

Daniel is the founder of Classic Auto Appraiser based out of Maryville, Tennessee. Enriched with a childhood of classic cars from an early age, Daniel was able to cut his teeth on his parents daily drivers (a 1965 Ford Mustang and a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette) and develop a hands on appreciation for them. Working in many sectors of the automotive industry Daniel developed a good pulse for what people appreciated about these four wheeled memory makers and how that common appreciation drove values behind the vehicles. In 2020 Daniel trained under Jeff and Howard Hyman of Classic Auto Appraiser based in southern California and established Classic Auto Appraiser in Tennessee. Having served hundreds of individuals in the private sector, insurance world, legal settings, and lending institutions Classic Auto Appraiser has become the trusted appraising company for handling collectible cars in the southeast. Daniel also worked as a Classic.com PRO handling American muscle car and assisted in building out their first generation Mustang and Corvette classification pages. Daniel currently contracts with collector car dealers handling Bring a Trailer listings and other sales services for their inventory. Daniel is happily married to his wife Rachelle and has the privilege and blessing to be the father of Jonathan.
